Season your chicken according to your preference and place it in a pot with one or two cups of water. Set it to a high heat. Allow it to reach a boil then reduce the temperature. Cook for another 12 to 15 minutes.

  5. You can also use a crock-pot to cook chicken breast. Just place a half cup of chicken broth and your seasoned chicken in the pot. Slow cook for five to six hours. Add your desired flavors and herbs. Rearrange your chicken once and be careful not to overcook.

There are many ways to cook a chicken breast properly. But, there is also a way to get that juicy and tender result by preserving all the juices before cooking it. It’s called brining. Just add one fourth cup salt and one fourth cup sugar to a quart of water for every pound of chicken. Soak the chicken and place it in the refrigerator for an hour. Afterward, rinse the chicken in cold running water then pat it dry. Cook with whatever method you prefer. Make sure that your chicken is fully cooked. If you undercook it, you risk food poisoning. You can use a meat thermometer to make sure that it is cooked through. Chicken breast should at least reach 170 degrees. You have many options when cooking chicken breasts.
