How to Do Face Yoga to Reshape Your Nose

Reshape your nose with face yoga? Hmm… It may sound far-fetched, but it’s possible. Face yoga involves doing isometric exercises with the muscles around the nose area. It’s simply striking a pose on your face. The methods on how to do face yoga to reshape your nose can actually work over the course of a few months, but it only requires about 5 minutes a day. Moreover, it isn’t difficult to do, and you won’t need any special equipment. It’s a great, free, effective alternative to cosmetic surgery. These poses firm up the muscles around your nostrils, tone and narrow the nose area, and effectively reshape your nose. Since your nose is at the center of your face, reshaping it will change what your face looks like generally, and because face yoga also tones your facial muscles, doing it enhances your complexion too.

  1. Oh, Oh, Oh. Sit in a relaxed position and breathe normally. Next, make a O shape with your mouth. Put your index fingers firmly at the sides of your nose. Close off your nostrils, but allow some space so you can still breathe.



    look at the ceiling without wrinkling your forehead. Now, move your mouth as if saying “Oh, Oh, Oh” for 10 seconds. Do 3 sets of up to 5 reps. Breathe in deeply between reps. Also, if you feel dizzy, stop the exercise and take a long deep breath. Focus on the nose area and relax your face.

  2. Alternate nostril breathing. Start by sitting in relaxed position. Put your right thumb to the right side of your nose and close off your right nostril. Breathe in through your left nostril to a count of 3 and hold your breath for a count of 1 for a total of 4 counts. Then, with your index finger, close off the left nostril while you release your thumb from your right nostril. Exhale through your right nostril for double the amount of time you inhaled, which is 8 counts in this case. Inhale through your right nostril with the same count, then use your right thumb close it. Release the left nostril and breathe out to a double count to 8. Do up to 10 reps.

  3. Narrow and refine your nose. Place both of your middle fingers onto the inside corners of your eyes. Then, put the ring fingers directly beside the middle finger on both sides of your nose. Next, wrinkle your nose and feel the muscle tense up. Slide your fingers at each side of your nose for a count of 5 without wrinkling your nose while keeping the muscle tensed. Do several reps.

With repetition, you can memorize how to do face yoga to reshape your nose so you can practically do it anywhere, anytime you’re free, such as on a bus trip. However, treat it as a yoga pose. You need the right focus, the right breathing, the right relaxation, and enjoy yourself.
