How to Get Rid of Cellulite Naturally

Cellulite, fat deposits below the skin that show up fatty dimples, is a cause of insecurity for most women because cellulite is unsightly and difficult to get rid of. It is often seen in parts of the body that are prone to storing fat, such as the thighs, hips, arms, and buttocks. There are surgical procedures and creams to get rid of cellulite. These methods are expensive, and the creams may not provide the promised results. Before shelling out a lot of money or going under the knife, try these ways on how to get rid of cellulite naturally.

  1. Scrub with coffee grounds

    Most people just throw away coffee grounds, but there are benefits to recycling them. They can be used to absorb smells in a refrigerator or room, and they make good fertilizer. Coffee grounds are also effective in reducing cellulite. While in a hot shower, scrub coffee grounds at the site for 10 minutes twice weekly. Coffee increases circulation and removes puffiness, so the skin looks smoother. You’ll also get the bonus of a fresh-smelling bathroom if you like the smell of coffee.

    Some people add cocoa butter and raw cane sugar to the coffee grounds to make a scrub. You can also combine a half cup of coffee grounds with one teaspoon of cayenne pepper and ¼ cup of olive oil. The cellulite reduction effect is immediate. It is recommended that you scrub in the bathroom for easy cleanup.

  2. Massage

    Massaging the area with cellulite while in a hot bath gives positive results when done twice a week. You can also try a seaweed wrap with massage. The seaweed firms up the skin and diminishes the cellulite. Another effective accompaniment to the massage is a combination of olive oil and juniper oil. After weeks of massaging daily, you will see that the smaller cellulite dimples have disappeared.

    Similar to a massage, rubbing a dry brush or skin stimulator onto the area targets the cellulite. You can rub coconut oil onto the skin first before brushing it so that you don’t hurt the skin. Do not rub too hard to prevent the skin from chafing. Brush gently in upward strokes, and this will help stimulate the lymph glands beneath the skin. Stop when the skin becomes a healthy pink color. Massaging and scrubbing the area improves blood circulation and helps clear any damaged or clogged skin tissues that contribute to the appearance of cellulite.

  3. Jump

    Jumping, either on a trampoline, bed, or the floor, is said to help reduce cellulite by engaging the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system helps remove toxins and fat from the body, but it contributes to excess fat and water retention if it is blocked. Varicose veins and cellulite are sometimes symptoms of a blocked lymphatic system. Jumping for five to 20 minutes a day is a fun and easy way to get the lymphatic system moving.

  4. Drink lemon juice with cayenne pepper

    Some women swear that a mixture of cayenne pepper and lemon juice gets rid of cellulite. Mix the juice of one lemon into eight ounces of water and add a dash of cayenne pepper. Drink the mixture three times each day. Aside from reduction of cellulite, this drink also helps detoxify the body.

Given that these are home remedies on how to get rid of cellulite naturally, don’t expect quick, immediate results. Have patience and try them for at least a month before you give up. Cellulite is fat, after all, and it’s not easy to get rid of it.
