How to Get Rid of Cellulite on Stomach

Cellulite is the frustrating fat lumps that appear on your body. This is caused by an accumulation of fat between the connective tissues joining the muscles to the body and results in the appearance of dimpling skin. While it can appear almost anywhere, it usually shows up on the hips, thighs, buttocks, and even your belly. The worst part is that it is quite hard to get rid of, so you have to be very patient in dealing with it. Here are the ways on how to get rid of cellulite on stomach:

  1. Eat a balanced diet. Trying to get rid of cellulite is very similar to trying to lose weight. Hence, you need to start eating a balanced diet so that you can remove that unsightly cellulite from your belly. Having a balanced diet means including fruits and vegetables to the foods you eat, since these foods have high fiber and water content, which can help diminish the appearance of cellulite. You also need to have a healthy amount of good fats in your diet, such as omega-3 fatty acids found in nuts, olives, fish, and avocadoes. These fatty acids are actually good for the skin.



    You should also avoid foods that lead to more cellulite, such as fried foods, processed snacks, and alcohol.

  2. Hydrate yourself. Drinking at least eight glasses of water per day hydrates your skin cells and keeps them looking fresh and renewed. To make sure that you are drinking the right amount of water each day, make it a habit to bring a bottle of water with you everywhere you go and refill it as needed. You should also start drinking a glass of water in the morning before your daily coffee or tea, as this will jumpstart your day.

  3. Exercise. Even though there is no exercise that specifically targets your belly cellulite, this does not mean that you should no longer exercise. In fact, having the right kind of workout can help reduce cellulite over time. Your workout routine should consist of calorie-burning cardiovascular exercises, such as walking, cycling, and stair climbing. You can intersperse some interval training and high intensity exercises during your cardio workout. You should also do some strength training exercises to build muscles, such as squats, lunges, crunches, and step-ups. After doing strength exercises, make sure that you stretch your muscles by engaging in some flexibility exercises.

  4. Have a skincare regimen. There are many cellulite creams being sold on the market that you can use to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Those that contain aminophylline or theophylline stimulate blood circulation to the area, and the massaging action of applying lotions on the cellulite-affected area helps break up cellulite deposits. You can also try dry brushing your skin, which also helps improve skin circulation.

  5. Boost your immune system. The body's lymphatic, or immune, system works with the liver to drain toxins from the body. If your immune system is unhealthy and sluggish, your body tends to retain toxins stored as fats and manifesting as cellulite. Therefore, you need to boost your immune system by eating a balanced diet and drinking plenty of fluids. You should also try doing yoga to improve your posture and help lymph flow through the lymphatic channels more easily. It is also a good idea to detoxify your liver to improve fat metabolism. You can do this by drinking cranberry juice, eating more vegetables, and avoiding processed foods.

It is important to remember that in learning how to get rid of cellulite on stomach and other parts of the body, the results do not show up right away. It will take months or even years to fully remove all the cellulite in your body, so be patient and stick to a healthy lifestyle regimen, not just to get rid of cellulite but also to live a healthier life in general.
