  4. Break the habit of touching your face unnecessarily, even when it's itchy. Instead, use a soft cloth or facial tissue to wipe your face. You can wash your face with just plain water or apply some aloe vera gel if it itches. Pat, do not rub, dry.

  5. If you use makeup, pick those that are non-comedogenic, alcohol-free, water-based, and fragrance-free.   6. You can use creams that contain an herbal extract of the Chrysanthellum indicum plant. A study found that this may help treat rosacea as it reduced facial redness and other symptoms.

  7. Cucumber is also a viable natural option for controlling rosacea symptoms. You can blend fresh cucumber into a paste and smooth it onto your face. Keep it on for about 30 minutes and rinse with cool water. You can do the same thing with fresh apples.

  8. Rose hip oil is another recommended natural alternative by other individuals living with rosacea. This substance is known for its beneficial effects on the skin and has been used to treat scars, eczema, blisters, and even sunburn. Apply a couple of drops on the affected areas daily.

  9. Tai chi, hypnotherapy, or meditation may also help you manage rosacea symptoms, as these activities can help you keep your stress levels down. Avoid activities that induce sweating or raise your body temperature abruptly, as this will cause a flare-up. Go for relaxing and even-paced activities that you enjoy doing, like any of the three mentioned.
