Multivitamins, fish oil, vitamin C, and iron may help speed up hair growth by improving the body’s overall health and stimulating cell regeneration. Some women have used birth control pills to hasten hair growth; there is no scientific basis for this, but then again, people’s bodies respond differently, and it just might suit you.

  5. Stay healthy. Depriving the body of nutrition and rest will show up in hair, making it look dull, dry, and lifeless. A diet rich in protein, omega-3 fats, fruits, and vegetables is necessary. Exercise regularly; this will not only give you a glow, but the health benefits will also help your hair grow. Make sure to get sufficient rest and enough hours of sleep. And don’t forget to drink plenty of water. Hydration is very important to healthy, quick-growing hair, and the hair’s source of moisture is the body, as it grows in the scalp. Frequent washing will not add moisture to the hair, but frequent shampooing could strip it of whatever moisture it has and leave it dry. You’re better off prolonging the duration between washes and not fussing with your hair too much.
