Although the invention of makeup has been a blessed relief to those who were not physically gifted by nature, many boys prefer girls who don’t wear makeup. After all, makeup sometimes covers up the real you and can make your beauty seem artificial. Contrary to popular belief, you can quickly learn how to look pretty without makeup. As a woman, you should focus more on bringing out your natural beauty than on covering it up. Here are some tips that you might find helpful:

  1. Take good care of your skin. The skin is the largest external organ on the body, so it follows that it is also the most visible part of your body. People who have smooth skin easily attract other people. So, if you want to have healthy skin, you have to take care of it by eating a healthy diet and getting enough hydration. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day can hydrate your skin. Eating lots of fruits and vegetables is also ideal.

  2. Promote proper hygiene. Not only does being hygienic make you look beautiful, but it also makes you smell pretty.



    Make sure you wash your face at least twice daily to remove all impurities. Take a bath regularly and brush your teeth two to three times a day. Shampoo and condition your hair frequently as well. Use natural hair products to avoid damaging your hair.

  3. Pay attention to your creams. If you have a beauty regimen, such as putting moisturizer and other creams on your face, make sure that you look at the ingredients before applying them on your skin. Choose natural products, and, if possible, do research on their ingredients. Also remember that, just because a product works for someone else, it doesn’t mean that it will work for you as well. People have different skin types, so choose the products that work best on your skin.

  4. Exercise on a regular basis. Exercise is not only needed to lose weight, but it also improves circulation to the different parts of your body. It strengthens your muscles and bones as well. If you are already the size that you want, continue to exercise so that you can tone your body and make it look sexier.

  5. Rest and sleep. If you want to look fresh, you should get proper rest and sleep. Not getting enough of these will make you look like a zombie, with dark circles around your eyes. Furthermore, you will look stressed out.

  6. Have some fashion sense. You don’t have to follow the latest fashion trends all the time; what is important is knowing what works best for you. If you find it difficult to strut your stuff wearing high heels, then avoid them even if they’re fashionable. Wear shoes that make you feel comfortable and that you can carry well. Also, practice some color coordination. Consider the colors of your garments as well as your skin tone.

  7. Always smile. A smile can brighten up even the homeliest of faces, so you should always wear one on your lips. Make sure that you maintain healthy teeth and gums so that you can brighten the day of anyone who sees your megawatt smile.

Learning how to look pretty without makeup is not rocket science. You don’t have to look like a celebrity to pull this off. The essential thing is to figure out how to make your inner beauty shine through so that, even without makeup, you will look pleasing to others.
