    To make the special lemonade, combine 2 tablespoons of freshly-squeezed lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of grade B maple syrup, 8 to 10 ounces of purified water, and at least 1/10 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Stir thoroughly and drink this lemonade at least six times a day. Drink 2 tablespoons of salt water in the morning and laxative tea at night before sleeping. Drink water frequently during the day. Drinking herbal teas is allowed as long as they do not contain caffeine. The diet can be followed for a maximum of 14 days.

    After not eating solid food for 14 days, do not eat solid food immediately after the diet. The body needs to adjust to consuming normal food again. On the first two days of coming out of the diet, continue drinking liquids only, such as freshly-squeezed juices from orange or other fruits and vegetables. You can also drink broths. On the third day, you can stop juicing and eat whole fruits and vegetables, cooked or raw. Normal food can be eaten starting the next day.

  2. Drink cayenne pepper tea

    You can benefit from the weight-loss properties of cayenne pepper without having to resort to the cayenne pepper diet, which can be extreme and not for everyone. Drink the cayenne pepper tea without changing your diet or to complement a well-balanced, healthy diet. Place 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a mug and pour hot water over it. If you are not used to eating hot food, start with a lower amount until you reach a teaspoon. Stir in the juice of half a lemon. You have the option to add molasses or artificial sweetener to sweeten it. Fresh, peeled ginger can be added as well. Let the tea cool for a bit before sipping it slowly.

A structured diet need not be followed. A simple thing like building a habit of eating cayenne pepper laced food results in weight loss. A study has shown that consuming just half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper resulted in the body burning an extra 10 calories. It has also revealed that the people who do not regularly eat spicy meals ate 60 calories less for their next meal that contained cayenne pepper. This second finding can be simply explained; the person ate less because they do not like hot food; however, the study did find a decrease in food consumption.
