Are you a little bit unsure on how to make physics project? Are you racking your brain on what to do but still don’t have any ideas? Do you just need help to be able to come up with one? If yes, then read on, and we’ll show you how. If you forget any apprehension, you might be surprised to find that you actually enjoy discovering so many things during the project. Planning a physics project is just like making any other project, except that this has a specific focus.

  1. First, make a list of physic topics that interest you. Do stars, rockets or airplanes fascinate you? Do you maybe enjoy sports like basketball, football or hockey? Do you like gadgets, robots, or anything involving electronics? Whatever you decide to do a project on, always choose a topic that interests you. This way, you will have the motivation and the willingness to complete it.

  2. Also, pick a topic or idea that you can actually do a project on using the fundamentals that you have learned in your physics class.

ake sure it is feasible also in terms of time and resources.

  3. Do extensive research. This is going to be the backbone of your project, and you need to do it well. You can hit the library and start your research there. Don’t limit yourself to books. Journals and magazines are good resources too. If there are people you can interview about your topic, go ahead and do so.

  4. Based on your research, make a hypothesis concerning a specific question. A hypothesis is just saying something like, “If I do this, then this will happen.” The experiment will center on testing your hypothesis.

  5. Plan your experiment. You can tweak it as you go along. This is after all an experiment. Remember that there are many ways to skin a cat.

  6. Make a list of everything you’ll need to complete the project. This will cover the stuff you need for your experiment as well as any necessary equipment for documentation. Ask yourself, “Do I need to record this with a video camera or can I just write down my observations?”

  7. Start experimenting. Observe, document, and compare results. Be very accurate in documentation. Apply all that you know in class. Keep your research at hand. Assess your work, and do not be afraid to modify the project because that is what it’s all about.

  8. Lastly, analyze your results and make a conclusion. You should be able to see if your hypothesis was correct or incorrect. Prepare a paper and visual presentation to showcase what you’ve discovered.

Following these steps ensures you know how to make physics project, so grab your thinking cap and start yours!
