How to Make Professional Grade Lavender Bath Salt

For most people, the idea of having a luxurious and pampering bath involves bath salts. Aside from soothing your tired muscles after a long day of work, bath salts can also help you get rid of dead skin cells, and thereby leave your skin smooth and fresh after taking a bath. While you can easily purchase bath salts, you can also opt to just make them at home. There are many bath salt recipes you can try, and one of the most popular ingredients is lavender because of its therapeutic effects. If you want to learn how to make professional-grade  lavender bath salt, here are some different methods: Lavender bath salt with sea salt

  1. Gather the following ingredients:

    a: 1 cup of Epsom salt

    b: ¼ cup of lavender buds

    c: 10-15 drops of lavender essential oil

    d: 1 cup of baking soda

    e: 1 capsule of vitamin E oil

    f: 1 cup of sea salt

    g: 3 tablespoons of jojoba oil

    h: 1 cup of powdered milk

  2. Gather the following materials:

    a: 1 large bowl

    b: 1 glass measuring cup

    c: Containers for storing the bath salt

    d: 1 small scoop that fits in the containers

    e: 1 tablespoon

    f: 1 large wooden spoon

  3. In the large mixing bowl, combine the Epsom salt, baking soda, sea salt, and powdered milk.

  4. Add jojoba oil to the mixture. If you don’t have 100% jojoba oil, a good alternative is olive oil.

  5. Then, add lavender oil and mix everything carefully.

  7. Once you’ve combined all the dry and wet ingredients, add the lavender buds and continue mixing.

  8. You now have your own professional grade lavender bath salt. Pour it in a container. Choose a nice container if you want to use it as a gift. Put the scoop inside the container before closing it.

Lavender bath salt with baking soda
  1. Gather the following ingredients:

    a: 1 cup of Epsom salt

    b: 10-15 drops of lavender essential oil

    c: 1 cup of baking soda

    d: 2 tablespoons of liquid glycerin

  2. Gather the following materials:

    a: 1 large mixing bowl

    b: 1 container with lid

    c: Measuring spoons

  3. Mix baking soda and Epsom salt in the mixing bowl.

  4. Add liquid glycerin, and combine the ingredients thoroughly.

  5. Add lavender essential oil, making sure that you mix all the ingredients carefully.

  6. You now have lavender bath salt. Place it in a container with a lid and store it in a dry place at room temperature. To use, simply add a few tablespoons of the lavender bath salt to your hot bath.

Lavender bath salt with dendritic salt
  1. Gather the following ingredients:

    a: 2 cups of medium grain dead sea salt

    b: ½ teaspoon of gel color

    c: 1.8 cup of dendritic salt

    d: 10-15 drops of lavender essential oil

  2. Gather the following materials:

    a: 1 large glass mixing bowl

    b: 1 glass jar with lid

    c: 1 glass stirrer

    d: Parchment paper

  3. Put the dendritic salt in a mixing bowl and add lavender essential oil. Use your stirrer to make sure that oil fully coats the dendritic salt.

  4. Add the medium grain Dead Sea salt and stir the mixture for another 15 seconds. Make sure that the mixture is well blended.

  5. Add your gel color until the color disperses evenly.

  6. Spread the lavender bath salt on parchment paper and leave for a few hours until the fragrance is no longer very strong.

  7. Place the lavender bath salt in a jar and seal it tightly.
