  3. Get one rubber band in a color of your choice and put it around the first peg from the bottom and the peg on its upper left. The rubber band should look like a backslash.

  4. Get another rubber band of a different color and place it on the upper left peg where the other end of the first rubber band is, and then attach it to the upper right peg so that it resembles a slash.

  5. Continue doing steps 2 and 3 to form a zigzag pattern with your rubber bands.

  6. Flip the rainbow loom over so that the arrows point down.

  7. Starting from the last rubber band, pick up each rubber band with the crochet hook and twist them in such a way that each rubber band is interlocked with another one. Remember to only grab one rubber band at a time. Continue to do this until you reach the end of the rainbow loom.

  8. Take the topmost rubber band and slide the C-clip on it.

  9. Remove the whole rubber band bracelet from the rainbow loom. You now have created a basic rubber band bracelet.

  1. You’ll use the same materials as before:

    A: Rubber bands

    B: Rainbow loom

    C: C-clips

    D: Crochet hook

  2. Position the loom in sideway position, with the arrows facing either way.

  3. Get a rubber band and make a horizontal figure eight loop.

  4. Add two more rubber bands on top of the figure eight rubber band. They should be on the same pegs. Do not twist these two rubber bands.

  5. Using the crochet hook, remove the bottom rubber band from the pegs so that it acts like a tie in the middle of the two remaining rubber bands.

  6. Add another rubber band on the same pegs.

  7. Remove the rubber band at the bottom using the crochet hook, so that it acts like another tie in the middle. The first one tie that you made should now be dangling a little outside the rainbow loom.

  8. Add another rubber band and remove the bottom rubber band again.

  9. Continue doing this repeatedly until you reach the desired length of your rubber band bracelet. Once you are happy with the length, simply remove the rubber bands from the pegs.

  10. Slip the rubber bands that you just removed from the pegs into your finger to open it up.

  11. Add a C-clip on one end so that you can hook it up to the other end of your fishtail rubber band bracelet.
