How to Make Your Own Face Wash

How to Make Your Own Face Wash

It is natural to want healthy-looking skin, but some go too far. Their routines involve regular salon treatments and constant visits to dermatology clinics. Maintaining a fresh and glowing skin doesn’t have to be expensive if you know how to make your own face wash. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Create a gentle facial cleanser. Use 2 ounces of liquid castile soap, 2 ounces of liquid lecithin, 5 ml of apple cider vinegar, and 2.5 ml of essential oil. Lavender oil is best for normal skin; rosemary is good for dry, sensitive skin, and lemon complements oily skin. Combine these ingredients in a small bowl and blend them well. Transfer the mixture into a clean plastic bottle and get ready to use it as an emollient on your face. This facial cleanser will cleanse your skin deeply without leaving it dry and irritated. Shake the bottle well before using.

  2. Try to make your own honey facial wash. Honey contains potassium, which helps eliminate pimple-causing bacteria. Honey also helps clarify skin that has acne in the post-inflammatory stage.

ombine ¼ cup of pure honey, ¼ cup distilled water, and 10 ml of mild liquid soap. Mix well. The facial wash is now ready to revitalize your delicate skin.

  3. Formulate a mild facial wash for dry, sensitive skin. In a small bowl, combine ¼ cup of yogurt, 2 teaspoons of pure lemon extract, and 10 ml of plain olive oil. Blend the mixture well. Wash your face two times daily, using this soothing facial wash to keep your dry skin smooth and to replenish the moisture.

  4. Make an oil-based facial cleanser at home. Combine castor oil and sunflower oil in a small plastic bottle with a lid. Sunflower oil is naturally good for the skin. It keeps it moisturized. Castor oil deeply cleanses the skin by drawing the dirt out of the clogged pores.

  5. To create moisturizing oil for dry, sensitive skin, combine 15 ml of sunflower oil and 5 ml of castor oil in a clean container. Revise the combination slightly for oily skin by blending 15 ml of castor oil and 5 ml of sunflower oil instead. For normal skin, the combination of 5 ml of castor oil and 5 ml of sunflower oil is ideal.

  6. Switch to olive oil and glycerin to make another effective facial cleanser. Olive oil is effective in clarifying the skin and controlling acne breakouts. Measure ½ cup of plain olive oil, 10 ml of glycerin, 1 teaspoon of water, and 10 ml of mild liquid soap. Combine all the ingredients together in a suitable bowl. This mixture can turn dry, sensitive skin into moist, smooth skin.

To use one of these oil-based facial cleansers, pour a few drops into your palm and then massage the cleanser into your face in a circular motion for several minutes. Dip a soft face towel into a bowl of warm water. Squeeze the cloth to remove the excess water, and then lay it over your face to produce a steaming effect. Leave it on for a few minutes then wipe your face again, but this time use a soft cloth to remove the oil and dirt. Rinse the cloth and wipe your face again. Repeat this process until you feel that your face is clean. Learning how to make your own face wash will help give you good-looking skin.
