Even the lightest exercise can noticeably increase your growth hormone. The trick to further reinforcing production is to avoid eating for at least two hours before working out.

  3. Fasting is also another way of creating the stimulus to help increase the growth hormone production. When your body doesn’t have anything to digest, your blood glucose level drops, resulting in an increase in growth hormone secretion. This is exactly the reason why fasting for two hours before exercising is more effective.

  4. There are certain kinds of food groups that decrease the production of growth hormones. Avoid foods that are rich in simple carbohydrates. Your body will produce insulin to break down simple carbohydrates. Insulin and growth hormones never work together as they are inversely proportional. This means that when insulin levels increase, growth hormone levels decrease. Two major foods that you should avoid are pasta and potatoes. Also, avoid nuts, beans, legumes and whole grains.
